Friday 17 April 2009

On June 6th 2009, we are setting off on an epic cycle to Morocco, leaving from the UK!  We will be navigating our own route and carrying all our equipment, whilst covering an average of up to 100 miles per day. This immense challenge is in aid of two very worthy causes...

SOS Children's Villages

This is the largest orphan charity in the world, and they provide children with a place to live, medical facilities and an education.  These are all things we take for granted in the UK, but make a world of difference to these children.  On arrival in Morocco, we will be visiting one of the orphanage projects to experience firsthand the difference our fundraising can make.  To donate to this charity please visit: http://www.justgiving.com/missionmorocco2009

Stephen Murray Fund

In 2007, professional BMXer Stephen Murray suffered a catastrophic fall attempting a double back flip at the Dew Action Sports Tour, Baltimore. He suffered severe spinal injuries and is now paralyzed below the neck, however, continued support from family and friends have encouraged his positive attitude and it is essential we continue to support his cause. To make a secure online donation for Stephen please follow this link: http://www.staystrongapparel.com/ Please quote 'MISSION MOROCCO' with every donation so we can keep track of donations.

These really are two amazing causes so please give generously.  Our aim is to raise as much awareness and fundraising as possible for both, and we really appreciate your donations.  All donations go directly to the charities.  We can make a difference!  Thank you!  Jess and Toby
